The Manquatch is a tricky primate. The Manquatch is a fierce adversary, combining the cunning and guile of a man with the brute strength and stealth of a sasquatch. Years of research yielded the following mathematical equation:
Man + Sasquatch = ManQuatch*
*the capital "q" was later dropped.
Few have seen the Manquatch. Fewer have lived to tell about it. Virtually none have dared return, especially to seek out the quatch. There exists, however, one team of folks who call themselves the Manquatch Hunters.
